Glar Conference & SPA Hotel has three modern conference rooms, ideally suited for various business events. The spacious rooms, which can accommodate up to 200 people, are an excellent choice for large conferences, training courses and workshops. Each room is equipped with state-of-the-art audiovisual equipment, including projectors, sound systems and microphones, guaranteeing the quality of each meeting.
The flexibility of our meeting spaces allows us to customize them to meet individual needs and requirements. We can organize both intimate business meetings and large conferences. In addition, our professional team is always ready to provide technical and organizational support.
After a busy day of conference or training, guests can relax in our luxurious Spa & Wellness. We offer a wide range of regenerative and relaxation treatments to help regain inner harmony and tranquility. The pool area with jacuzzi is the ideal place to relax after an exhausting training session or meeting.
Get to know our SPA
1. Projectors and screens:
The conference room space uses projection systems built on the basis of:
• one main screen (for the combined rooms) with a base of 650 cm with a projector with a brightness of 10,000 Ansi lumens,
• one 300 cm screen (restrictions, ceiling rise in the part with windows) with a projector with a brightness of 8,000 Ansi lumens,
• two 400 cm screens with projectors with a brightness of 8,000 Ansi lumens.
All projectors are mounted on projection elevators, which allows to maintain the aesthetics of the hall. Due to the height of the ceilings, high quality and brightness laser projectors with closed optics and short-focus lenses were used.
In addition, there is one 75'' monitor on a cart, which can be used as an auxiliary element, illuminating the image in any space (also outside the conference rooms which gives additional possibilities). The monitor cart can be connected to the AV system via RJ45 connectors in the connections located in the room or any image source via (e.g. laptop) HDMI cable.
2. Connection to projectors and screens:
The room provides for up to 3 sources to be connected wired (HDMI) and up to three sources to be connected wirelessly (WiFI). Video sources in the meeting rooms can be:
• computers (Users) connected via HDMI cable to video transmitters - plugged into any RJ45 AV connection in the room,
• wirelessly connected devices over WiFi - a system based on a wireless video receiver
3. Video conferencing:
Video transmitters are equipped with USB ports giving USB KVM functionality. The KVM distribution is connected to a BYOD video conferencing system (audio, cameras). This solution allows the User to connect a single USB cable to their computer with video conferencing software installed (Zoom, MS Teams, Cisco Webex, etc.) and conduct a video conferencing meeting using the microphones, speakers and cameras that are on the conference room equipment.
4. Sound system:
The conference rooms are equipped with a classical sound system consisting of speakers (8 per room) and a high-performance DSP processor supporting all necessary conference functions, including acoustic excitation eliminators, AEC - acoustic echo cancellation for videoconferencing, and support for DANTE and AES 67 network standards. Due to high ceilings, dedicated speakers for high ceilings with appropriate sound propagation angles were installed to improve sound quality. Combining sound zones is done through a control system. The sound system of the conference room can combine with the sound system of the foyer zone adjacent to the conference rooms.
5. Microphones:
The conference rooms were equipped with a wireless microphone system complete with:
• 3 handheld microphones,
• 3 head microphones,
• a set of chargers,
• antenna distribution system
Wireless microphone transmitters are shared between rooms, which means that each transmitter can be assigned to a specific room depending on its configuration or scenario. The assignment of microphones will be done manually through the control system managing the conference sound system.
6. Recording and streaming:
The room viewing system is built based on PTZ cameras mounted in the three main parts of the conference rooms. The cameras are connected to the video system which allows to display the camera image on any projector or monitor and send the preview signal to the recording system. The cameras are controlled via a control system and touch panel. The cameras are retrofitted with a license that supports 4K camera resolution for high-quality video recording.
7. Journalist connection:
The mobile journalist connection allows you to make audio from the conference room system available to journalists. In a separate space in the conference room dedicated to journalists (the so-called Press Room), you can preview the room and share audio by connecting the Mobile Journalist Connection to any RJ45 connection located in the room. The device uses the digital Dante standard and is powered by PoE.
8. Lighting and blackout:
The conference rooms are equipped with a system of ceiling lights, divided into zones. It is possible to control the zones in question, with the appropriate light intensity. The user can also control the light on a panel located on the wall in each room. In addition, one of the conference rooms has access to outside light, and remotely controlled blinds allow it to be partially or completely blacked out.
9. Air conditioning and heating:
The rooms have automatic air conditioning and mechanical supply and exhaust ventilation with fresh cool or warm air supply. The user can conveniently adjust the level of supply by means of a wall-mounted panel located in each room.
10. Foyer:
Adjacent to the conference space in the foyer are 3 monitors, which are installed in vertical positions on stands at the entrance to the conference rooms. The screens can display information about events taking place, sponsors, etc.
